Yesterday was a strange day, starting with my Dad calling and asking me to take him to the hospital. He ended up calling an ambulance instead because of how icy the roads were. The ambulance drivers even asked for sand when they got to his driveway. The hospital told my Dad that his blood pressure is very low and he has a urinary tract infection. He is not eating enough. I am ready to tell him he needs to move into a nursing home where they will make sure he eats. We cannot always be there to make sure he is eating. And when we try to get him to eat he always complains he doesn't like something or it makes him sick. Today is his birthday, so I am going to have to visit him at the hospital after work.
Yesterday Doug made baked potato soup for Ross. It was very yummy, great comfort food. Most of our usual crowd showed up, except for Wanda & Johnny. Wanda was at Amber's place and I'm not sure what kept Johnny away.We also had a visit from Chloe & Ross. They ate supper and watched Louis C.K. "Chewed Up" with the Sunday group. Everyone had quite a few good laughs from it.
It looks like Thomas & Diedre have a 2 hr delay this morning. Drive safely when you do go in.
