Monday Update

It's Monday morning and Mao is confused because I am not getting ready for work and Ashley is not up getting ready for school. It's nice to have a day off occasionally.

Soup Sunday was a huge success. Mary and Jordan came over at around 1:30 to help with the preparations. She also brought a very delicious Chicken Enchilada Casserole. There were several new people, Chris, Lisa and Lisa's two daughters (I have forgotten thier names.) Lisa brought really moist Pumpkin Bars with cream cheese frosting. Yummy!! Sara, Nick and Ana came without Jacob, he was sick with a bug he got from the kids (more on that later.) Sara brought pepper cheese. Deb brought Coronas and limes. Willie and Dawn also showed up. And last, but not least, Brian brought napkins, because it would not be good to run out of napkins on Soup Sunday and we were running very low.

As I stated before Nick and Ana had been sick. After eating, some of our guests had gathered around the computer to see some of the silly little things Doug has saved. Doug was sitting in the chair in front of the computer and Ana came to see him. As usual, Doug picked up Ana and started to give her a little toss in the air. Soon after, Sara said "No, no, oh stop." Just then Doug and everyone else realized what was happening. Poo was spraying out of Ana's diaper all over Doug's arm. Doug gave her to Sara ever so gently and proceeded to go take a quick shower. He says he used antibacterial soap and Selsun Blue. Poor Ana was so embarrassed by the whole thing. Later after everyone left, Doug sent an instant message to Jacob to ask how his little poo bear was doing. It will be a Soup Sunday that will not be soon forgotten.
