Yesterday some of my close family got together and reunited. It was because of my Dad passing away this past Monday. Although it was for my Dad, he really wasn't mentioned all that much. We mostly talked about the fun we had as kids getting together at our Grandparents house. We also got caught up on what everyone has been doing all of these years: jobs, service, kids & grandchildren.
We had quite a buffet and lots of people in the house. I'm sure Mao was very disturbed, although you could tell he really wanted to come out and see Tommy.
There was Doug & myself, Thomas & Diedre, Susan & husband Dave, Mark, Dan & wife Gail, Tim, cousin Julie & husband Jim, cousin Jana & husband William, and Amy showed up a little later with Ella & Chase.
It was great fun and everyone had lots of hugs and laughs.
