I don't have much this morning. Yesterday was a great day. It was Diedre's birthday. I hope she had a wonderful day. Her parents and sister came for a visit and they went out to eat, so I'm pretty sure she did.
The Italian Wedding Soup and Vegetarian Italian Wedding Soup both turned out fantastic. It was nice to see some old faces; Jamie, Susannah and Justin. My Red Satin Cake also turned out very good. Everyone liked it and they were surprised that it contained pureed beets. Ana must have gotten a burst of energy from her piece of cake because she started bouncing all over the living room and acting like a cat. What a still tiny girl.
