Monday Update

Yesterday was a sad day with the news of Johnny Carson's death. Thomas and Doug have the full story and obituary on their blogs.

The Garden State blog was finally updated. He says to check back in a few days and he will do a bigger update.

The soups were very yummy yesterday. Although I do have a bit of a fussy tummy this morning. Oh well... Wanda brought the good bean dip, Brian and Deb brought Corona beer for those who indulge, Deb also brought mint chocolate chip ice cream to go with my brownies and Sarah brought a bowl of mixed fruit. All in all it was a good evening. The kids did get a bit hyper at the end. It's always nice to enjoy a few moments of silence after they are gone. Ashley also decided to come out and play a few notes on her bass. After a bit of drama with the amp not being plugged in correctly, she didn't sound too bad, despite the bass being out of tune.

Thomas will be coming home later today for his short visit. It will be great to see him. Don't worry, we saved some Pesole and brownies.
