Last night Doug and I had our less than yearly Long John Silver's meal. It always feels like we ate a whole can of Crisco after one of these meals. While we were eating, Doug thought he heard drums. I looked out the window and it was the Marion Homecoming Parade going by up the street. I had forgotten it was Homecoming week here. At least we are not teachers and don't get bothered by it.
