This is my last post for 2005. I hope everyone has a safe, happy and healthy new year. I slept in so I can hopefully make it until 12. Don't hold your breath though.

Friday Update

This is the last Friday of 2005. It will also be the last Friday in my old cubicle at work. Today is Daisy's last day and then I will be moved to her cubicle. Which is actually a space shared with three other people. It will be strange and it also means I will be more on my own in my new position.

Thomas just left for work and we won't see him until Monday. I'm glad we don't plan much for the New Year. New years Rockin' Eve looks like it will be horrible this year anyway. I hope we just watch a good movie. Who knows what the girls have planned.

Wednesday Update

Three days of work left in this year. Last night my brother Mark came to visit and he brought Best Buy gift cards. You know Thomas is growing up a bit when he goes to Best Buy with a gift card and doesn't buy anything. After Mark left, Doug called Brian and he came over to eat leftover Christmas dinner with us. Then we watched The 40 Year Old Virgin. Today at work we are having a food day for Daisy's retirement.

Monday Update

Christmas turned out very well this year. Mao was the most excited of us all. Ashley took great video of him opening his presents. He also got to eat both duck and turkey. It can't get much better for a cat on Christmas. I got lots of wonderful clothes and shoes. I also got a nice stainless steel spice rack and a flower pot for my African violet. Today we are going to Verizon to get new phones. I will finally have a color screen!

You would have thought the trash men would have a day off today. But, no. The day I am finally able to sleep past 6:00, I am woken by the garbage truck going right by our house. Now I have a full trash can and recycle bin that will both have to wait another week. Oh well, at least it is cold outside and the trash won't smell as bad.
