There is this old retired guy in New York that has a blog about his visits to bars. His goal is 1,000 bars in 1 year. I am not sure why I am posting a link to his blog on my blog, but I thought someone might find it interesting what other people blog about. Just A Few Things To Think About
1. Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either. Just leave me alone.
2. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and a leaky tire.
3. It's always darkest before dawn. So if you're going to steal the neighbor's newspaper that's the time to do it.
4. We are born naked, wet, and hungry. Then things get worse.
5. No one is listening until you make a mistake.
6. Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
7. Never test the depth of the water with both feet.
8. It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
9. It is far more impressive when others discover your good qualities without your help.
10. If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of car payments.
11. If you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything.
12. If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Friday Update
I'm glad it is Friday. When it is slow at work the week is very long. I have a three day weekend for the Memorial Day holiday. And then I just remembered that I asked off on June 3 for a long weekend in celebration of Doug's birthday. That means I will have to work only three days next week and have two three day weekends in a row. Yeahhhh!!!!
Thomas is moved back home now. He tried to clean up his room a bit last night. What a mess and oh the laundry.
Congrats to Diedre for her raise and new position at La Petite. Have lots of fun on those field trips with the kids and drive safely.

Thursday Update
Today Thomas finishes his first year of college. Congratulations Thomas, a job well done. Doug is driving up to Waverly to help him move the rest of his things home today. He has already brought most of the small items home. Mao was a little upset waiting for Thomas to return after he left last night.
I don't think the season finale of Lost was all it had been hyped to be. It left a lot of questions unanswered. And started even more questions going in your head. They had better not cancel it before the next season. I am still upset that Carnivale will not be back.
I'm glad that Carrie won on American Idol. She was the best singer, although Bo was a very close second. Ashley and friends wanted Bo to win of course.
