Sunday Update

Yesterday I woke up before the sun and worked all morning. At home we went over the menu for Thanksgiving and I went shopping for things we did not have yet. Later we did some cleaning around the house. Today will be a little more relaxing, since we are only having supper with Chloe and Ross. Of course, there is still more cleaning and a few other things we need to do today. Maybe I will have time to go over to the Taste of Sam's.

Friday Update

Happy Friday everyone. I hope this day goes quickly. Lots to do around home to get ready for Thanksgiving guests and to make sure we have all the food stuff we need.

Wednesday Update

Yeah! It is Wednesday, next week Ashley and Paul will be driving down. I can't wait.

So we already have to work the day after Thanksgiving and yesterday they asked us to volunteer to work Saturday as well, on the phones! No one has taken up on that yet. We are afraid next year they may make it mandatory. That would stink.

Tuesday Update

Last night we went to see Chloe and Ross' apartment. It is very nice and cozy. Their cat is very sweet as well. We went to Prime Time for supper. The broasted chicken was delicious as usual.

Sunday Update

We are officially empty nesters once again. Sigh.... Ross, his parents and friends, came and took most of Chloe's things yesterday afternoon. There are still a few things in her bedroom that she needs to go through. I can't wait until they get the place settled a little and we can go over to visit.

We went grocery shopping last night in the cold and wind. We now have most of the main course items purchased for Thanksgiving. We only have a few little things and last minute stuff left to purchase. Thanksgiving is only 11 days away. I am so excited to have everyone together again. I wish we all lived closer together. Sigh....

Friday Update

I'm glad it is Friday. I'm excited for Chloe & Ross, they get their apartment on Saturday. Chloe has been busy packing. Unfortunately, Chloe has to work Saturday afternoon when the moving is going on.

Last night we had Doug's yummy chicken and Rice dish for supper. We watch all of our usual Thursday night shows. On Big Bang, the Amy Farrah Fowler slumber party bit was hilarious. Community wasn't the best episode and it was the first time Chloe had ever watched it. She said she still liked it.
